uuuuhhh.......
what are the basic needs for the baja 5b? i am a newby, so i am trying to learn...
what should i worry about most?
what are some up grades that are really useful?
what are the most breaking parts you see?
how durable are these little beastys?
anything i should look out for? precautions i should know that arent common sense?

sorry for all the questions, i just want to be sure i know all i can, so that when i can get a baja, there will be no surprizes...
thanks everyone!!:cool2:

RM where are you located?
I would say get yourself at least one set of front arms and depending on the terrain save or buy yourself a new set of rears - Upgrade away from the HPI tires.
What Baja do you have ss or rtr?

I would say that some of the things I would add first-off (and I'm still new to the Baja scene) are:

- Diemaster pico switch (a must, not an option IMO)
- Outerwears pull start and air filter pre-filters
- Shock socks or covers
- Aluminum clutch bell carrier and/or cover
- Voltwatch (optional, more for ease of battery state viewing)

Those aren't in the order of preference, which would depend on where you drive and how you drive. So let us know...

i will second that on the Diemaster pico kill switch
i am the testor for theese and i put my Baja through every kind of failure and the Diemaster switch did just what it is supposed to do.
you won't need a fail safe with this on Board.
a absolute must.
