why does my battery discharge over night ? its a brand new 4200 mah i make sure the switch off but its still flat the next day, anyone else have this problem ?

Sounds to me like a dodgy battery or dodgy charger. Even if it was left switched on over night I would expect there to be something in it in the morning with a 4200mah cos its not exactly doing a lot. Mine is 4100mah and I can leave it weeks in between bashing and there is still enough to move the servos. What charger are you using btw? Do you have a different battery you can try with it or maybe borrow a mates charger?

i have now charged both batterys and swapped them over so i will check them in the morning and get back to you!

Thanks for the advice.
charger is a prolux ultrapeak lcd

update on battery's.

the one i left in car has not lost any charge the one i removed has lost some charge but not totally flat.
i found that when i removed the battery that kept going flat the red wire on the charge lead had folded in half when the lid was put on so i think thats were the problem was.:o
