first time in my live i 'm back from the beach in one pice(working pice...oh ye bodyshell dosen't look good)...now i know the stock tyres are not good(too wide). Can you recommend some good "all terrain" tyres for my MT?
What about hop ups/upgrades...which are nessesery IYO.

make sure you run a duel stage foam filter with an outweres , sand is engine death if it gets past your filter, my filter fell off and the allmost brand new motor was destroyed by sand:mad::mad:

shock socks are worth it too. you can make your own as a few on here have done or buy them off ebay.

A good strip down clean is important too. The salt will rot it for fun :crying:

other than doing all you can air filter wise (dual stage and maybe a bag as well) i would run the nutech TB2 tyres and rims, they bolt straight up and think they would be awesome for traction on any surface.

any action shots of the FG on beach?

air filter and outweres done already, but what about alu. diff case, alu. shock tower, steel/alu. balljoints??...
sperera...i'm waiting for movie, one of baja had rc-cam on board :D

They are general mods & bling and not just mods required for running on the beach as you asked :D You can run a stock buggy on the beach with good results - in fact the plastic parts will prob stand up to the salt better than the steel & ally parts imo

ye...i have to do something, stock tyres are useless on the sand(problems with turn on the full throttle)
One more think...anybody has a poblem with sevosaver, i think my it's no working well( last time i burn out steering servo, servosaver was blocked)

try the TB2 tyres, their cheap and im confident they would be heaps better than the tractor style.

+1 to BTB alloy not reuqired for beach bashing, FG plastics are excellent and hold up really well.

Heres your wheel adaptors (Wheelwizards)All you need to do is make shore your air filter is sealed and oiled,to stop any chance of sand recking your motor. At the end of the day clean your car thourally and crc or rp7 all metal bits generasly.Ive run my baja at the beach and did'nt clean it for a few days later and all the steel parts started rusting very fast.No fun to clean up.

yep i run the wheel wizards on my FG Baja 4WD and they haven't missed a beat, easily done over 15 tanks with them and they still look brand new, no play or anything. a bit pricey but fully worth it, never have to replace them!
