Hi!

I`m trying to upgrade my bearings to rubber sealed ones. I have however trouble finding the dimension 10X22X7 as rubber sealed. It is the bearing at the brake hex that have this dimension. What happens if I use 10X22X6 instead? Is this possible?

Yes. You could use a shim to make up the difference. That's what Vertigo did with their MT/TT bearing kits. They couldn't find a 10x22x7, either.

Thanks!

Do you put the shim on the outside of the bearing? Also, what kind of shim do I need? I mean is it just the ID that needs to be correct or do you need a specific OD of the shim aswell?
