bec receiver

Anyone know if the stock redcat receivers have bec I am installing this new hitec servo 5805 and it says to use the y-cable if it is a bec type receiver

Some people like using the Y-cable because it allows the servo to draw power directly from the battery, but you don't NEED to use it. It's just personal preference. I don't use one, cause my radio box is filled with enough junk.
