Hello,

I discovered my marder had an onroad front end so after replacing with standard marder plastic bulkheads the front ally brace doesn't reach. Is this due to the kick up on the front of the chassis being wrong?

Do you think its ok to bend it up so the brace fits?

cheers

Craig

nowt wrong with that mate i brought the chassis of the bug bent its been hit a few times with mr lump hammer to sort it out since and still going strong plus its not a proper job if it don't involve a hammer

I have the same problem with my brace are there differant chassis for the marder?

don't think so.....mine was about 3mm out so I put the front end in a vice and just bent it back.....keep checking though so you don't go to far. It appears the whole of my front end is on road!! it's a real mongrel......paid £280 for it and there ain't much of the original left!!

I had a heavy front end impact and it bent the kick up and sheared the bolt through the brace / servo saver. Straightened out ok tho.

If you are straightening it fully check the main chassis with a straight edge as they are prone to bend in front of the fuel tank
