I've heard that they are literally the same exact carb just the 1107 has a choke vs the 990 doesn't. Also j doubt youd see a difference even if u went from a 668 to a 990 so personally I think it's a waste of time and money. Just me ?‍

go with the 1107 and use 28 : 1 fuel ratio

The 1107 and 990 carbs are not the same, similar though. The 1107 has a choke and a bigger venturi allowing more fuel. Many racers go with the 1107. Also rcmax switched to a modded 1107 over the 990 because it can support a little more power.

Some say it's harder to tune but I personally have had zero issues.

I’ve been using 25:1 as per manufacture spec, is 28:1 more benefit?

I just thought it was a little laggy at the bottom end.
