best tyres for carpark bashing on fg touring car

hello im new to all this and looking on ebay theres diffrent types of tyre. my car was allover the place when i was out with it last week, whats best for traction in both wet and dry conditions? any tips on getting heat into tyres thanks :)
 
slicks are great on dry tracks, treaded for wet. I don't run when it's wet myself. the softer compound the rear tire gets the better the traction, and the faster the tire wears out. grp are great, pmt, fg. about all I use.
 
have a look on ebay mate theres always a good few sets on there even new there not the dearest tyres outthere you should be able to find a set of 4 for @£50 plus postage
 
i haven't got a shop local so all rc i get comes from ebay my bug was built from ebay and all the on road so far has come from ebay theres some real bargains to be had if you look around and stick to a budget i go on there every day
 
its the only way i can do it id love to buy a new one not happening little here and there don't matter but still adds up quick you can have as much fun with a £200 marder as you can with a £3000 one i have learnt that the more you spend the more you want to spend then you don't want to use it as theres to much money invested,yeah the on roads going well got a few nice bits sorted for it now and the mother of all wish lists what im slowly getting through but need parts for the bug so its going on hold till the bugs up and running
 
I'm saving parts from the 4wd conversion to go into another on road. watch for sales too. I buy from a california shop a lot, fg supply. they have some killer sales, just get on the email list of your fav stores. I have KCR springs. All my ordering is done online too, unless I get my stuff at the track... We have an ex hobby shop owner runs once in a while with us and about $2000 worth of tires. He sold me the medium wb mercedes clk gtr. I have a few so can't afford all the expensive bling at once. many parts for the next build re hand me downs hehe

Hobbytek had a sale going, might be worth a look
