Just what IS a genuine HPI part, aside from arriving in a HPI packet?
I'm referring to the fact that loads of these manufacturers, doubtless HPI as well, rely on other parts manufacturers.
How are these 'graded'?
Is it similar to tyres, with the 'production' grades, and the after market 'same manufacturer but slightly less balanced ones you find more cheaply?

Well if you look at the alloy arm set it says KM on it and is advertised as HPI!

i,ve seen a few sq bajas on ebay being sold as hpi ,they allways seem to say that they are selling it for a freind, as for parts km plastic parts are identical to hpi ones if you take them out of the bags that is, but km alloy bits have km written all over them the seller must be a bit thick to think people won,t complain,
 
heres the DEAL. Genuine HPI motor parts wil be Chung Yang Parts, or Walbro for the carb.

RCAngle (which is a major Misnomer as this Angel is a POS in sheeps clothing ) is listing and selling items via Ebay, calling them AUTHENTIC HPI Parts, but if you read thru the fine Print, you ll see they say the Mnfr is King Motors, which using NOTHING from Chung Yang, Walbro, OR HPI.

they are cheap POS parts, and this POS LOSER, RCANGLE ON EBAY< is a major Piece of poop for selling that Junk. let alone selling it as Authentic HPI (Chung Yang/Walbro) parts.


REPORT EVERY POST THAT POS MAKES TO Ebay. if we all do it, Ebay will have to take a SERIOUS look at RCANUS, err Angels account. with any luck the POS will get bounced.

Of course it was meant to be misleading to maximise their profits. If anyone spotted it on receipt of goods it would be 'oh it was an honest mistake, the parts are very similar' Bollocks! Well spotted lads and he is well sussed out. Job done :cool:
