MCD V4 Version 2 Spec.
3 x Hitec 5755 large scale servo’s £150
MCD metal gear carrier upgrade (original plastic one as spare) £230
1 x Front MCD LSD diff upgrade (Stock Diff as spare) £140
4 x new plastic wide body shock upgrade, new seals, alloy cap and spring adjusters, Jofer USA alloy bottom spring tables, upgraded shock shafts with M5 bottom fork thread. £100 approx. All in
4 x Alloy wide body shock bodies for spares.
Jofer USA alloy servo tray (new) $150 plus import tax
KCR alloy steering strengtheners (new) £20
2 x Blue spot wheels and tyres on front (better grip in wet) (new) £90
2 x white spot wheels and tyres on rear (new) £90
2 x white spot wheels and tyres as spares
1 x Scott Finlay race ported Zenoah 4 bolt 29.4cc engine fitted with external Red Race ignition. Walbro 990 carb (chocked velocity stack to make starting easy), Uber RC race filter, Elcon 4 shoe clutch. Engine has new ring and seals just fitted....compression incredible. Dyno sheets to come with car as proof of engine power. £500 (the engine has had approx. 6 full tanks through it before I put a new ring in it. Ported engines need new rings more often than stock and they run hotter)
1 x CPI side pipe (this makes plenty of power throughout the rev range as proven by the dyno sheets) $160 plus import tax
1 x Futaba 4PKS (4 channel multi model memory) transmitter and receiver (the best) £450
1 x Killer Bee kill switch with buzzer on car £70
1 x My laps transponder €75
1 x MCD V4 Race Runner body, painted. Seen better days but still very useable.
The car has only ever run on grass tracks and shows the marks on the underside that would reflect this. It stands me at over £3,300 for the car with all the upgrades. The engine has only ever been run on Rock Oil Synthesis 2 racing 2 stroke oil and comes with a few bottles of this as spare including a mixing bottle to get the ratio of oil to fuel correct. Also included are a number of spare lower suspension arms front and back and a few other bits and pieces. This is a genuine car that has been set up for racing but will outlast most of the HPI and clone cars if you want to bash around with friends. It is a seriously quick car with brakes that match the performance unlike most other large scale cars.
