I do believe that! I used to have one of the GST 7.7's, and I think it was around 17lbs stock? Perfect truck to do an electric conversion on, IMO it has the strongest drivetrain out of any 1/8th scale out on the market.

cen's all around are built real strong. i had a matrix buggy and 2 truggies and the drive train is heavy duty. my buddy has 3 cen gen 7.7's converted to bl, 3 redcat rampage mt's converted to bl, an fg mt bl, an emaxx that weighs about 18lbs without batteries but its done to the max. everything is from unlimited engineering and i'll bet it'll take more of a pounding then any car on the market. boats ect. he's the only guy that i know that has as many rc's as me.lol
