I am on tank #3 on my new xb. Running it easy still on low cut grass at my rc flying field. Then all of a sudden car stops moving. I blew ever tooth off the gear that bolts to the bell case and both gears that are on the same mid shaft. Has anyone had this issue with there xb?

I have an XT that did that.what style gears 4 pin or square? Mine was the square drive style. Is ur gear plate aluminum or plastic? If plastic replace with aluminum version the plastic has to much flex...

It's the latest version buggy and I think it's square. I have a plastic backing plate . waiting for my metal with oversized bearing to come in

this is what mine looks like

I wasn't even running this car hard when they broke. You think it could of been from the plastic rear diff case flexing?

No..I don't think its the rear flexing..I have been going through a lot of gears lately with the same issues of teeth stripped off. I had all 4 come apart on asphalt that was smooth as glass. This may be a quality issue that is coming about with the gears...MCD gears are better and you get a tone of ratio to play with but it comes with a nice cost and hit to the wallet.
