I ordered a mt blue aluminum gear plate for my xb with some good ss bearings

problem is the brake rod.the pin that holds the brake pad one is to long do i need to cut it .and I also orderd a gear kit 3 25 tooth so im useing 31-29 swapped them a n b then 3 25 gears will this increase my top end speed .

I would think im going to have to cut one of those brake rods..and will the 3 25 gears work also i built the diffs (2 hours to clean them) lockte all set screws.I ordered good bearings 19 10 5 .stainless steel beaings .do you think a good quality bearing will hold up .I see rc dad has hubs the 6 mm shaft i have the 10 mm shaft I guess it will work if i get the bearings from somewere else.well we shall see.can some one please tell me if i need to cut that one rod?brake rod

I really need to make a chasis brace when reinstalling the diffs the chassis was tweaked some front and back any suggestions

If you run 35-25-25-25, that will increase your top speed. You will be slower off the line. A 8000 rpm clutch spring will help with that.

ok will do thank you btw do you sell this stuff.I got the gear plate from my lhs took long id rather just buy a few parts .thanks oh what do you thing of stainless steel bearings

do you think they will hold up for awhile.

I have a question will the mt front and rear hubs work(I like the blue color on my xb and what about the dune runner tires? will they mount on.ur baja adapters you have for 30.00 is that just for the mt truck or will the dune runner

Thank You i just might order them oh will the bearings fit .I just bought some good 19 10 5 bearings 8.00 each i will keep them in the plastic if they don't fit ur aluminums blue hubs let me know thanks

-The MT hop-up parts do not fit the X-series vehicles.

-The Dune Runner wheels will not fit. The Baja adapters are only for the MT, TT & Dune Runner. Those vehicles have a 23mm wheel hex which is odd. The Baja adapters are to run 24mm wheels.

Rampage Hopups & 7075 RC both have Baja adapters (24mm hex) for the X-series vehicles.

Maybe your the one who got the last blue gear plate. Lol I placed an inventory order on those and Redcat is out. I'm hoping they can replenish me soon.

The SS bearings will last longer than stock, that's for sure. I am going to try a ceramic set to see how they do.

with 7075rc on the tire adapters.I just spent over 100.00 in bearings,Those al. hubs do take the stock size bearing right? Hope so.

Makeing some chassis braces going from the side of chasiss to the shock towers.

would this work?

Ok Thank You that's the kind of input I'm looking for.I'll look into buying Al.Shock Towers.
