Blue smoke??

Ok i know that im burning oil...and im only running 20:1 mix...but im finding my self clean oil outta the back of my xt, and tons of blue smoke comes out the pipe!! could in be my tunning?? or am i running the wrong mix?

If you see oil out the exhaust you are way too rich.

try running 25:1 instead of 20:1

Yes 5.12oz of oil to one gallon of gas = 25:1

Should be 25:1, dude. Even then that's a bit rich. Also, the stock settings are on the rich side. You'll have to tune from there. Check your plug color while you tune. Dark and wet is rich, light and dry is lean. You want to hit the middle, which is a brown paper bag color. In order to get an accurate plug reading, do a high speed run and kill the engine before it idles.

Once you get familiar with the tuning process, you can run a leaner mix. Which would be 32:1.
