new member here into boats it sucks seeing everywhere is practically dead for RC boats. shame. Im posting thread just cause someone needs to. Zero replies here we come!

that it is. I'm going on my 3rd year. I started out at a local boat club and that was extremely "niche". A little bit why my interest is waning too, frankly.

Doesn't help my case that the accessible lakes by me have houses around it and the people don't like hearing the noise. Plus you need to have some sort of recovery equipment and patience when your boat isn't running right lol. It ended up being a pain for me and I gave it up.

I built a bonzi 64 fountain from the ground up basically, it was fun for a little while

I built one of these they're fantastic for bringing in a dead boat. A cheap to build.

Keep in mind too.A lot of people have frozen water for awhile still.

You just unscrew the stock coil wire and thread in the msd wire.

I posted a meme on facebook poking fun at electric conversions. most people thought it was funny with a lot of engagement for a boat post anyway. But it made some people extremely angry. The owner of MLboatworks took it so personal he declared my meme joke was calling him "gay" and that I shouldn't ever buy anything from MLboatworks.



Is having jovial joking fun with a meme really what's killing RC boating? Cause to me this lame attitude, which I have found quite prevalent, is what is probably turning way more people off. IDK

I have a buddy trying to get me to convert my 5ive B to brushless and leave all gas behind. I'm not against battery rc, I've had many, but hard to get away from a real engine.

Something about gas I just love. Sound , smell ; not sure but I am hooked.

Sure electric has its place but I would rather burn fuel if I had a choice.
