Body posts trouble

I got my desert rat body cut painted and I noticed that the factory posts don't go all the way threw the body for a good clean clip on


What do I need to do to fix this

Cut the center of the post out so the body comes down more...look at the back of the XT in this pic.

Ok did that and it worked but the front is still kinda tight

It will be a tighter fit. Those bodies are twice as thick as the stocker.

Yes...I remember the front being kind of a pain sometimes.
