Does anyone know how long, wide and tall the MCD MT bodies are?

I've got an FG MT and it could use a new body, but the MCD's are about half the cost of the FG replacements.

If someone could get me the measurements, it would be much appreciated. :)

Thank You!

Excellent. What are the MCD bodies made from if they aren't lexan?
(I just thought they were white because it was a protective overspray film.)

hi all
which body are thinking about the new mcd mt or the old mcd mt
well i think that's strange as i have a fg beetle fg hummer and they don't fit the clone so im thinking that the mcd mt old will also not fit for the new one im not sure but its got to be the same you could do a few mods on it then maybes it will fit like for instance new holes in the body or moving the body posts about

same size

the fg's are 2 piece, the front grill is attached with little bolts etc. the fg's have a little better detail. I'm sure they are approx the same size. Much easier to paint the fg's with the clear protective film as opposed to the opaque protective film on the MCD. Lastly the fg's are trimmed and holes drilled. With the MCD's you'll need to trim them and deside the wheel well size etc yourself as there aren't any lines to go by. I'll post the exact measurements later today

If the MCD Monster bodies are anything like the Baja 1000 bodies, then they come pre cut.At least mine did.

Here's the 2 bodies with similiar paint schemes. The first is the MCD then the FG. tomorrow i'll post picks of them side bt side unpainted with the specs. You can see more detailing in the molding of the truck bed in the FG and front grill. The Fg is a Ford and the MCD is a Chevy

The MCD body that you show doesn't appear to be the MCD monster truck body.If you follow the link below you'll clearly see that the MCD body is a Ford,It even says "F150" on the rear box side.

Awesome.
Thank you.

I guess I'll take my chances and order an MCD body. I just can't see paying twice as much if I have a choice. haha
I will most likely be painting it one solid color anyway, so the white overspray film isn't going to be a big deal.

Very cool. Thank you guys for all of your help and insight.

What prices have you found for the 2 bodies? And where are you buying them from?

The best prices I've found so far are at LargeScaleRC.com

FG Body: http://www.innovativehobby.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1393

MCD Body: http://www.innovativehobby.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=362

Not quite half-price, but still nearly $70 less than the FG body. Plus it's a single-piece body.
