I just got in my Cen SC body in and I am have to do some trimming. On my 1/10 cars I just use a pair of scissors. I tried that on the stock TT body and they broke causing me to cut myself. So what is the best way to trim them up? Surely something is better than scissors?

Please say dremel, please say dremel, please say dremel! I really want one and need an excuse.

Honestly, a pair of scissors is still the way to go (the right type of scissors is the key though).

The first time I tried to trim my MT lid I used a crappy pair of scissors and had to squeeze the handles so hard I ended up hurting my hands in the process. A good heavy duty pair of scissors however, will cut with no problem and you can get technical as to how you want to trim the lid without slipping and making mistakes like you would with a dremmel or knife. Just my opinion!

don't wait for an opportunity to buy a dremmel in this hobby just go buy it, you know your gonna need it...lol

Dremel all the way. I have a saw bit that I use just for trimming bodies. I use a 1/4" cylindrical double cut carbide burr to clean up edges and round off corners and wheel wells.
