I bought it for extra security even though I got the stock filter in the tank. I don't think the stock one is that great too?

I'm sure it could be run without the clunk filter.

Yep. They're good. Not much to say about it, dude. Lol. It's a filter. They all do the same thing. I'm going to get a Blur filter and ditch the tank filter. It'll make maintenance that much easier.
