bouncing around track no traction

I was at the track tuning suspension and was watching the truck having real bad control and bouncing over bumps. I am running trenchers and stock springs. Am going to order the hpi yellow soft springs front and rear today. This should help the ride and my traction issues right? Any opinions would be great. Thanks in advance.

What shock fluid are you running? Sounds like you just need a heavier weight fluid.

Softer springs are better for bumpy tracks. They'll also increase traction.

Sweet that's what I was hoping for thanks. I have realized that me wanting more power is not needed right now, better suspension is. I have bajas and 5t's to drive against so need to show the cats are good!!
