Brake adjustments.

I was breaking in engine and found myself not able to stop. I adjusted the spring with the set screw by pushing it to the left, but the breaks were still weak. I noticed a lot of play in the rod with the keyhole. But couldn't figure out how to tighten it. Any help appreciated

Did you tighten up the two grub screws. And get rid of the spring and use a piece of fuel line. don't forget to set your end points again.

Ok should the piece of fuel line be as long as the spring?

Yes roughly the same. I have an orange piece in there. You can see the lenght

And screws 50111. Those will take out the slack
