brake clearance

I have the problem of my cable stay? will not clear my upper fron arms.

What should I do to make this clear?

Also is there a longer part and where can I get it. DDM claims not to have it.

Cable stay==black L shaped part that the cable goes into on the brake cal.

Any info would be helpfull.

Cable brakes are pretty simple to install - no insult intended.

I am not very up on the picture to the computer thing. I don't own a camera, sorry.

I drilled a hole in the cal. to mount the brake stay higher up to make the clearence. I hope that works.

What is the FG part number that you are using for brakes?
What front uprights are you using?

Those two questions will help tremendously in verifying if you have the right parts.

On the FGMT, you should make sure you stay away from the buggy uprights and go with the MT uprights.
The FGMT tuning brake set is also specific so that the plastic cable stay will fasten right to the front of the truck.

there are 2 different brake sets and the one for the mt is higher. not sure if that part is available seperately though
