Brake Mod?

So my buddy bought one of these a couple of days ago and he's on tank 7 and lost his Brakes completely.. I was looking it over and I can't get the play out of it. I'm thinking that either something rattled loose and fell off or this thing needs some kind of a brake mod.


Any ideas where I should start looking as I tear out the rear end of it?

check the grub screws that ajust where the brake pads sit, there kinda tricky to get to but if u whipe ur electrics box of you can just about reach them with a long allen key
 
Just start at the servo and check everything all the way to the pads while pushing and releasing the brakes. You'll find the broken link somewhere.
