Brakes

I just upgraded my accelerator and brake servo to a Hitec HS-7975HB.


My question is on the brakes, I see how the servo presses the brakes, but how does it pull off of the brakes


It seems to me there should be a locking device on both sides of the brakes, one to push down and another to pull off

It doenst have to pull off. If there is no pressure on the brake linkage the brakes are not braking. The set screws and springs for the brake only put pressure on the discs and pads in one direction. When the throttle opens the brake linkage releases the pressure on the brakes.
