Once again I hope im in the correct spot I see nothing for the xsc so im just posting under the x series....... I have the xsc when I got it my brakes worked great I think I moved the throttle/brake thingy that hooks to the servo is there an easy way to adjust this my truck used to lock up all 4 tires with no problem but now it just kinda rolls to a stop.....thx guys sorry about my noob questions but I took my xsc off the shelf and im giving this hobby another try

You can adjust it a couple of ways.

The linkage collars are adjustable. Just loosen the set screw and slide the collar to desired location.

You can adjust the throttle brake trim on the radio.

When your throttle/brake trigger is in the neutral position the servo horn should be perpendicular to the servo.

i am a no brakes guy, dropped the hook up some time back...but you may have stripped some teeth on servo(gears or output mount) , or set screw may have moved on arm, arm may be bent . hope it helps

The set screws on the center drive pinion bearing mount may have moved...

What thingy did you move?

The set screw/collar on the linkage, or the servo horn?

Its been awhile but I think I moved the servo horn its been almost 2 years since ive had the truck out I guess I better start fiddling with it

Hi there. I am new user from the UK and have a Maverick Blackout XB which I am led to believe is the equivalent model as the Rampage.

Did you ever get this sorted with the brakes? I have noticed the same with my Blackout XB. A low speeds it is clear that the brakes are working but at higher speeds it is touch and go whether they are effective at all. When I first got the vehicle the brakes were so sharp it was capable of skidding the car to a halt, but now it just slows as the OP describes.

I am pretty sure I have got the brake linkage positioned well so wondered if the brake discs or cam?

Happy to listen to anyones thoughts please?
