hey guys. i thought the motor wouldnt start? does it run yet? worry about the torque specs later, for now lets get him going
you said it felt low on compression? put a small amount(teaspoon) 2 stroke down the spark plug port. roll it around. that will create a temporary seal to give it enough compression to start. very common issue.

Krypt,you say a teaspoon of two stroke? is that oil or oil and fuel mix?

Hey Chucked...Great news on the engine....Like I mentioned very rare the key brakes
that's why check all other things first...Had I had more information from the start
I would have said the same thing...woodruff key.........

. its oil, no fuel. it creates a temporary seal. new rings are sometimes not perfect enough for the first start. any ideas how the key was not allowing it to start? was it throwing the flywheel off the coil? it was still grabbing right, or was the flywheel just free spinning?
