i have a brand new baja 5t,when i first started it,it started to drive foward on its own, which was ok cause i was in a big field, but if i start it in my gargage i don't want it to start taking off on its own..question is how do i tone it down so when i start it it just idles not start moving..thanks for your help everyone jason.. oh yea its 100% stock, brand new and fully charged.

Sounds like the clutch might be catching.
Take a look / listen at some of the other rigs on this forum, particularly when idling. Does your engine sound like it's revving faster or not?

If it's revving a little, it might simply be a case of lowering the idle speed, as the clutch might be engaging. This is one of the reasons some go for a higher revs clutch spring, to limit the creep.

it does sound like its reving a little fast..and it does have the 8000 rpm clutch already installed..and it doesn't like take off full throttle or anything it just creeps like you said

Just tune it bro it will be ok. you got to find the correct screw settings.
this is my first baja, thats why im taking every precaution possible, the creep is not too bad it just makes me nervous though..does the idle or lsn correct that?i have lost the manual thats why im asking so many questions

With idle you'll only adjust how low or high your engine works while standing, but be very careful with adjusting carb settings so you don't mess your engine. Have you made the break-in?

Not yet ...i filled it and started it and it started to move a little on its own..so i didn't know if something was wrong and shut it off..then came here to ask about it

Richen the LSN a little and drop the rpms. I set my idle screw simply by applying the breaks and making sure the rpm doesn't drop. any adjustment to increase or decrease idle rpm I do with the LSN

isnt it just the opposite?lean the lsn to drop the rpm's thats what i thought..i could be wrong though..

No leaning will raise rpms on lsn. Here are your factory carb settings. LSN 1 1/4 turns out, HSN 1 1/2 turns out. So turn both needles clock wise until they stop, don't over tighten just til you feel it starting to get snugg. Then turn the needles back out to the factory specs. This will be your starting point. Just adjust your idle screw until the revs drop enough to stop the wheels from moving. There's no factory setting for the idle screw. A good idea is to put your baja on a stool or something high enough to raise the wheels off the ground and adjust the idle in case you're scared of it running/creeping on you
