I see they use CY 4 bolt cases. I have been told that the CY cases have a better and bigger opening for the transfer ports then Zen. I would guess they use a Zen cylinder is this correct?

There is very little difference between the zenoah and CY engines other than the cylinder. The red cylinder on the Oddified engines are from http://www.crrcpro.com/product_show.asp?id=223
Ian uses them because of the tuning options and the quality.

I wish I could afford to buy both a set of Zen and CY case to compare. I have had many tell me that the area for the transfer ports on the CY are much larger then the Zen other then that they are about the same. I know Zen runs two bearing on the power take off side which many take out the third bearing and put a seal in do to having air leaks and sucking in clutch dust.
