Brand New redcat chimera sr will start, but refuses to move

I recently bought a brand new chimera sr (gas) straight from RedCat, & I'm driving it around for the break-in period. It came to a sudden halt & killed the engine itself. Now it will start up, idle for a few seconds, & then shut off. The tires will not move together, but will spin on their own
 
It sounds like you may have a clutch and or transmission issue. Check those areas for possible issues. My best guess.
