Well I kinda thought I was breaking in the engine right. But there seem's to be multiple ways according to everyone on the internet & I also know these little 2 stroke's are resilient & tough with common sense. Never broke in a piece of yard equipment. But here's what I did. No problem starting & idling.
I let it idle for about 30 / 45 mins with several times giving it the throttle 1/4, 1/2 definitely was not any WOT on the bench. Then let it cool started again fairly easy. Up & down the road going easy with different throttle positions never held in in one position long. Haven't even did WOT yet due to the fact it's fast & WOT isn't really good for anything. Please give me y'all's opinion on this topic.

Thank You

Dude, everyone is free to break in their engine the way they want if that makes them happy. But seriously, factually speaking, breaking in with a heat gun and doing 4 TANKS of idling is NOT necessary (this is surprisingly super extended within the community) again, there is 0 evidence of this making any impact.
Furthermore, Im literally quoting from Losi’s 5T and 5T 2.0 manual:
“Break in the engine by driving slowly for the first half tank of fuel.”
