break-in question

could i break-in the engine today? the temp will go up to about 49 degrees today.

Got through 2 tanks yesterday let it idle to temp then shut it off and then ran it for remainder of the tank varying my throttle throughout the rpm range. the second tank i started it of slow then....

(i let my son run it ,he wanted to do donuts!!)

and then i ran it off a hill and this happened....







thankfully i just go spare body today!!!

and yes im running the sacrilege pipe but it was free!!! and it held up so far. but i will get another tuned pipe next month!!!

On the next body you can use a combination of dry wall tape and Goop plumbers glue, it makes the body a lot stronger......got it off youtube.

2 stroke oil

just got my MT in the mail today VERY COOL..... can anyone suggest a good 2 stroke engine oil

don't use synthetic oil use the cheap oil for the first gallon of gas . The reason being you want the ring to seat , if you use synthetic oil it will take a long time for the ring to seat. After the first gallon of gas you can use synthetic oil. I happen to use yamaha 2cycle oil. There are a lot of good oils and the guys will chime in.

Thank you did a little reading on this, just happens that i use the walmart oil and have it the shed, thank you , shoud i use hi test gas like 92.. or just 87

87 is fine. No need to run high octane fuel, especially with a stock engine.
