im only on my third tank of gas and the breaks locked. the lever wont move at all. whats the easiest way to fix this. and what will i have to remove to be able to work on the breaks? and tips would really help.

First, I'd check to see if the throttle servo fried. that could be holding the brakes on. Then, I'd put WD 40 on the lever and try to work it in to break the lever loose if it has frozen. After that, I'd check for binding in the linkage. or whatever order you want to go in. If you still have your owners manual. It has exploded views of everything. there are exploded views of the MT & TT on Redcat's website as well. I haven't messed with my brake linkage much but I just made sure the throttle and brake worked smooth by just turning on the electronics and just checking to see if it was operating smooth and didn't bind by having the spring etc... move on the linkage.

its a new hitec servo and i can see that the grub screw is preventing the lever to move. theres no tension on the lever. im thinking i have to remove the throttle/ steering servos to have access to the screw to back it off. its really tight in there. does anyone have any experience with this? any one know what mm hex wrench this takes? its a 5*10 grub screw. is there an easy way to do this. thanks

well i fixed it, talk about a pain in the ass. hopefully loctite will keep it in place, must have vibrated in and locked them up. had to make my own hex to fit in there
