i was climbing the snow piles on the sides of my street today and the truck got stuck all the sudden. after i walked over and pulled it off the pile i saw it only had front wheel drive. turns out i broke a rear inner cvd pin. i made one out of a 4mm drill bit but would like to buy a correct one are they available anywhere without buying a set of cvds?

I've lost so many of these!! I'm starting to think that the cold has something to do with it too. I had been making some quick fixes using coat hanger wire and then covering the whole over with some tissue paper and drops of crazy glue. This works but there's no telling how long it will last for. I have some repaired this way that have lasted weeks now, others that lasted 2 days.

I'd like to know where to get these pins too. I know you can get slightly longer ones for the hpi baja off of ebay but that's all I found there.

i was just on mcmaster.com and they have them $9 for 50. i just have to dig up the post with the size. i think 4mm x 20mm. anybody know?

you should get the cat 5 mfg diff cup rings that will end loosing pins for you. unless you break them of corse

put a slot in the pin where the setscrew hits with a file or dremmel. helps them from sliding out. then some outdoor type shrink tube, the stuff with the glue inside. the glue releases when heated and seals things tight

all set pipe, got a coulpe kits coming from rob. i have the cat5 rings on there also. cant wait to go ice racing on the bay

I Cant Seem To Find Them Either. Largescalerc Is Def Where I Got Mine From Though. Just Find Some Thin Wall Tubing That Fits Tightly Over Your Diff Cups And Cut Your Own

Pull the rear diff/suspension all off as a single unit. Then slide the dogbone out from the fuel tank.
