Broken & Bent MCD Dogbone

Today was a nice day intill I Broke my MCD Dogbone. I thought they was tough as nails but I was wrong, I will post pics up as soon as I upload them on my computer. The pictures where taken with my Blackberry Storm, but I did send Rob from Rampage Hopups pics of the dogbone. Pissed!

wow. thats an odd break!! looks like it poped right open like a tube of pillsbury biscuits!! is that a set screw in the end and why?

That is how the MCD dogbone come, with a set screw to hold the pin in place.

I did the samething back when i had my MCD MT Running a ESP 30.5 man that thing was a beast.

Yes, I have done that a few times with my MCD's. They had a hardening issue a while back looks like you got some or one of the bad dog bones.


They are made so you can change the pins when they sear out. That is why the MCD is worth just a little more than everything else-alot of good that'll do when the bone's don't last.

MCD had some hardening issues, I went through a few of them on my MCD's. I know exactly what they look like. lol
