Broken rear MT axel. Can I use hpi FLM axel ?

I've broken an axel an found a link to a fix thread. Wondering if anyone has done this swap and can I continue to use my MT wheels with 5b axles.

Any update or experience on this?

I just broke a rear and front axel and need to repair or upgrade accordingly.

It says Redcat in the other forum and they look like Redcat hubs
