Buying engine for my roller XB: CY, Zen or RCMK?

I'm looking at 29cc engines and have been thinking of getting one of the following:


CY CY29RC $189


Zenoah G290RC $219


RCMK CR300F (4-bolt) $229


I've read about bad plating jobs on the CY cylinders on various forums, but most of those discussions are a few years old so I don't know if that has been rectified by CY. Otherwise, which one would you guys pick? I've had a Zen 26cc in an FG Beetle a few years ago and that thing was always super easy to start, etc. I want something reliable with a good combination of torque and top-end.

OBR has the 30.5 pro stock longblock for 219. I have one in my xb and love it and For the price 5.5hp you can't go wrong.

I've got a Zen 290 in my DR and it's great

Get it with the 990 carb and get a good pipe for it
