Does the XB use the same laysahft setup as the MT V3?

Also, Does an XB body fit on a TT V3? or could it with some trimming?

Cool vids. Your last vid was like my day yesterday......adjust, drive in a circle, come back......repeat ;)

No, this is a totally different platform.

Not that I know of...the TT has a wide chassis. I will try to take some comparison shots to show you.

That would be very nice of you, thanks :)

sorry buzz you're killin me, you are changing too many settings at once on your 3rd video tuning your carb, once you set your idle put your buggy up on a stand hold it wide open and adjust your high needle in until it starts cutting out and then back it out a little it will make it alot easier to tune, plus you'll see how great that thing will run,lol just trying to help

The belt drive layshaft was derived from measurements taken off my old V1. I had to order my XB back in June to make sure it will fit the new cars and yes it did. The layshaft gear and shaft should be the same. The coupler is what is different (changed to steel). The gear plates from the MT/TT can be used on a XT/XB even though they are different and vice versa. What is different about the plates is that the XT/B plate is much lighter and uses 19x5x5 bearings instead of the 22x8x7 bearings. Also there is a 4th chassis mounting hole for the XT/B gear plate.

Thanks...I got it all straight. I was just being impatient :o

BTW, anyone have issues with a loose choke lever? Mine drops down when it gets bumpy...I have a zip tie on it as a fix but it is a pain.

Ahhh ha! That explains why your XB looked like it was bogging in the vids. I was wondering why it didnt seem to be running as fast as it should, but a loose choke lever explains that. In fact in one of your vids I thought I heard it chokeing when you gunned the throttle from a standstill.

Im guessing now that you have addressed an issue with your choke lever it should be haulin ass.... :D

hey buzz lookin good now, and another thing nice about XB bein so light you can reverse your gears and not kill the low end but you get some nice top end speed out of it,lol......

Sounds like you can tune high needle a bit for more RPM, does not sound like screaming Jetpro pipe . Lean it out a bit and rev it while keeping buggy above ground. You Might get better top end.
