Reading in another form, the guy`s in europe say don't use the bzm 26ccc in your losi 5t cuz the bzm 26ccc overheats.Thought I would pass that along.

It seems like heat is a problem on many engines when used in the losi. I hear the same thing about the reed case OBR.

They had to cut the shroud and the windows out,and it was still hot so yanked the bzm out put in the zenoh`s no problem. Then bzm said they were hot cuz they were in the buggy conversion which is smaller than the sc. Then bzm had aprob. with piston cracking. Alot of money for a lot of probs.Well we shouldnt have these probs. with the new ram-tech.

All engine manufacturers will have issues from time to time. I remember when Zenoah and CY had plating issues. Hell, CY still has plating issues. poop happens.

The BZMs are expensive. I would have had higher expectations also.

I was looking at the posts on the American hpi site months ago. there were quite a few really pissed off people with the bzm.- all in the 5b. nickel silicon carbide plating failures- from too hard of a piston ring being installed by an authorised dealer- Rebuilt with the old reeds re-installed- Not happy r-c ers at all. bunch of them shi% canned then into file 13- went back to obr engines. just saying what went on there- it got kinda ugly too-

That's too bad.

yes i am in total agreement.- a top fuel dragster engine is good for 1/4 mile-- there are thousands of people out there that are very happy with the bzm. What happened on the hpi site- the authorised dealer in the uk was an ass. 2 of these guys started altercating with each other- full view for every r-cer in the world to see-- they quickly encountered the wrath of just about every r-c er in the world real quick-- even the dudes that were happy with the bzm- soon trew there feelings about this dealers attude.- eventually- the moderator stepped in and sorta spanked those 2 british authorized dealers- they were giving bzm a black eye.
