Can I make a gasket

I had my intake loosen up on me the other day and I don't have a spare gasket. Could I make a gasket or use gasket maker

You can make your own out of paper gasket material.

Just make sure there is the "pulse port" in the gasket.

Most small engine weed wacker shops should stock them for a few dollars...

No just clean the surfaces befor you put it on.

I've seen guys make them out of thin cardboard in a pinch. Worked fine with no air leaks! I was impressed.

Also, you don't want to use any sealant. It'll squeeze out when you tighten the bolts and clog the pulse port. Could get sucked into the engine, as well. That's no bueno.

Got the gasket it and no air leak. Do I leave it in or replace asap

If it's not torn or damaged, leave it in.
