I think the marines have a different porting due to there high rpms. It can be done skopodroy from Norway did one water cooling and all he has a few videos on YouTube.

YES YOU CAN!!!

Darksoul makes an air cooling sleeve to convert
marine heads to air cooled. The marine engines porting
is not going to give you as much low end but will scream
on the mid an top end
