can you lacquer over enamel paint?

hi ive patched up my old leopard shell and painted the outside as its only a old shell for bashing with car spray paint, ive done the windows useing humbrol enamel model paint and brush, can i lacquer over this using a can of car lacquar? i know these sprays are full of thinners to just get product out of tin, any ideas ??? cheers
 
Complete waste of time if you don't use polycarbonate paint color and clear coat will only flake off

I was thinking you might have a fibreglass body.

+1 on Troy with the Lexan bodies - you need the flexible paint - made to flex with the body.

Painting over the windows may look OK for a while, but will probably flake off.

I think there's a paint called Flexicote which may help here ...

Plastikote is an enamel based spray I think and will work, I back my paint with that, works well for me.

However I would strongly advise testing as has already been said above to make sure you don't get a reaction.
 
Most times when you spray laquer paints over enamel paints or the other way around it'll spider crack and wrinkle up.
