can you turn the supply fuel nipple on a 990 carb? its facing the wrong direction.

Yes. It's just pressed in. Just be carful, they break fairly easy.

i can turn the primer one fairly easy. the other one not wanting to move.

They do move. It is difficult sometimes. I have broken them off. Try to grab the barb by the base to rotate it. If you grab up on the barbed area it can snap off. If you do happen to break it. The fitting on the stock carb will work.
