i remimber seeing a thred befor with the same prob. but i cant finde it. i just got my redcat this week and took it out for the first time today and i drove for 5 min and now it wont roll. like the brake is on but its not i can move them. have had time to tare into it yet. any ideas on where to start lookking?

is it a bindy kinda fealing? almost like the gears arent right? if so, i iknow its hard to believe, but it will go away in about 5min of running. if its the bindy action that you are refering too, its just the 2-25t gears(c-d). the mesh from the factory is tight, wich also resoults in them melting fairly quick. what i mean by "bindy" is it rolles but kinda clicks along and stops itself on the bench..

also check the brake screws they could have vibrated in and are holding the brake pads to the rotors.

oh sorry, i just saw that you said you were driving it around, my bad.. make sure you hooked up the throttle linkage corect and have the brakes adjusted properly. if thats the case you could be applyinhg the brakes when it should be in nuetral

My MT had the same issue when new. It was the 2 grub screws for the brakes, readjusted them and lock tightened. Then the set screw for the 3rd way gear came loose causing the shaft to slip in and out. Again readjusted and lock tightened. Those buggers at the factory didn't locktight too much on my truck except for the engine mount bolts!
