Its full of fuel, had the choke on pulled about 30 times, pulled it reg about 30 times, and is on its fifth run, so please help.

Sounds flooded. Pull the spark plug. If its wet its flooded. Leave the plug out for about 1/2 an hour. Replace plug. Try to restart without choke first.

there's alot of things on a new truck that can cause you problems with idle. check your hsn and lsn settings on your carb. make sure they are set to factory settings. 1 1/2 turns out is usually a good place to start. make sure you have no air leaks by spraying wd 40 around base of carb while engine is running. if you have a leak you'll notice a change in rpm. sometimes the carbs will loosen up on first runs. if the carburetor is loose the plastic spacer between carb and engine wil often become warped and have to be replaced. you can get aluminum intake to replace it with much more durable. also check bolts on muffler. make sure they're tight. leaks here cause problems too. vent your fuel tank. a vent problem will usually just cause engine to stall after running a few minutes but needs done. most of the time you'll find an air leak or carb adjustment to be your problem.

Dam those new car Gremlins. They will get you every time ;)

Definitely do a thorough check on all your screws not just the engine. Any loose screws use loctite to secure it. And a tip don't use Red loctite on metal parts as that results in stripped bolts alot of time. Use blue on metal to metal. Red on metal to plastic.

Alright so i took it to my local rc guys that do nothing but 1/5th scale, we cleaned out the piston, changed the carb and yet it still wants to flood and we even sprayed some ether in there and it just wont start, were running out of ideas and this thing is only 4 days old

You might want to try a new plug. The factory spark plugs are junk.

I had one go out on my XB like on the second tank. I was breaking it in and it just died while i was driving it. I tried to get it restarted, but could not. I pulled the plug it was wet. I let it air out with the plug out overnight. Next morning still would not start. I threw in a new plug and it started first pull.

Did that to, we also tested the spark and gave it more and its still not doing anything, were still working on it but if anyone has had the same issue please let me know

Just an idea but has anybody looked at the kill button on the engine or does it have a kill switch.I had a issue where the button was stuck down and kept it from doing squat . Its worth a peek

your problem sounds a lot like what was going on with mine when i first got it. turned out to be all carb related. if you can't figure it out redcat at least has great customer service.

If it has a choke, only use it till it pops or tries to start.

Then turn it off and then pull.

If it is flooded it helps to pull the plug and flip it over, then pull it over a few times to clear it.

We did get it started though, the carb spacer was warped so that wasn't good but just ended up being the engine, its alright though with the new one were going to change that out to aluminum so i will have way more power and everything will run great, thanks for all the help though guys.

Having problem with your car? The scariest thing that can occur to a lot of people is that their vehicle will stop working. Not only does it cost a bunch of cash to pay the mechanic to repair your car, but you will also be without a vehicle until you can come up with the money to do so. A payday cash advance can help you pay the mechanic and get you back to work quicker.

I am having the sane problem with my new Rampage MT Pro. I check the plug wet. check carb., meter kill switch, second plug, piston has compression. check the plug is firing but small spark. have broken one pull rope. (will be ordering cable one). it looking like something with the carb. might remove and check the needle valve high & low. or Engine ignition coil enough fire to the plug. What ever I do I have to wait because I am living in Thailand and A Hobby Shop not easy to find over here. ( E_BAY & Internet)

if your plugs wet your flooding. these motors just won't start with to much fuel. figure out what's causing that, venting, needle adjustment or whatever and your problem will most likely be solved.

Make sure your carb is at the base settings. They don't always come set from the factory.

No more then one or two pulls with the choke on. Even if you don't hear it pop. Turn the choke off before trying to start it. It is not suppose to run with the choke on like other small engines do.
