Carb has movement in throttle shaft!!!!

Me again. Is this normal to have axial movement within the carbs throttle shaft. Recently found that engine struggles to idle, and when looking into it this is my only conclusion that air is gettting in around the shaft causing fast idle, even when fully loosening idle screw

sounds like its sucking in air mate time for a new carb try a wt771 ive used this carb for the last year good results works well try mmr large scale

Check for the air leak with wd40 or something else to see if the motor reacts.
