Having some issues with an XB it has been broke in , but after break in the motor don't seem to rev out like the other xbs . tried fine tuning carb but didnt help. Now it will barely run even after putting adjustments on carb back to factory settings. it starts right up if you put gas down carb. Didnt know if stock carbs had issues or not

Perhaps your carb needs a new diaphram gasket.Thier are three colors of gasket,blue,beige,and?I forget the third color.The blue lets the most gas pass through,so if you replace your diphram gasket use the blue color one.
 
Some of the stock carbs can be troublesome. Carbs are fairly inexpensive, if its not your tune, you might just want to try a better one.
