Carb tighten screw??

I snapped the screw off that tightens the carb I believe does anyone kno where I can get that? Also it doesn't seem to want to come out???

Not sure where to send you to get a new one.

It's sort of a sleeve over a bolt, with a cut out for the carb.

One side is threaded , to pinch the carb.

Hopefully you can use a punch/nail to loosen it, then remove the carb.

After the carb is off, you should be able to drive it out.

After it's out, you can seen what your dealing with, might be a easy fix.

I finally got it out now I just need to know where to buy a new one??

I got that part number from the manual. Seems right. It's the nut and the shaft that hold the carb in place.

Says it works with all VX 16's and 18's.

Well it's the sh.18 not vx is there a difference?

I don't see any other carb nuts. You can call or email Redcat and see what they say.
