Hi everyone, I am going for a carb upgrade this weekend on my two cars.

I have looked at the WT603, the WT668 and the WT813, but I cannot decide which ones would be better.

Are any of these 3 the same as the standard carb that comes with the HPI Baja SS or the FG Baja?

The engines I have are:
HPI Baja: Originally the Fuelie 26s, now 29cc w/2mm stroker crank, standard filter with TGN Redneck prefilter & TGN X-can pipe.

FG Baja: Originally the Zenoah G260RC, now 29cc w/2mm stroker crank, standard filter with TGN Redneck prefilter & FG tuning pipe.

What carb(s) would you recommend for these engines? Would the WT813 be OK? I presumed it would be better because it costs more. What is the difference between the 603 & the 668 as they look the same?

Thanks!

I concur, I find the 813 no harder to tune than the 6 series carbs, what would you prefer a 4 barrel rochester or a holley double pumper...the accelerator pump gives helps eliminate lag off the line...I run 2 813's and wouldn't go back to 668

Don't let any one try scare you about the 813, they are a great carb, I run them on all of my models. THey are a great carb.

Do you both run on stock engines or are they a larger displacement?

the wt813 carb was designed for 27.2cc & bigger engines....
ask any reliable engine builder.....it does eliminate to bogging..and is better off the line
