Carbon Fiber Body

I haven't worked with it in a while but I'm thinking of making a fiberglass mold of the body pieces and making carbon fiber parts. What does everyone thing about carbon fiber?

It would look cool.

If it's done right it would be strong. I've seen some carbon fiber bodies shatter on impact.

Not sure about the actual material, I took the easy road and ordered carbon fiber vinyl and going to wrap the body with it.

Yea that's the quick way but I'm gonna make a fiberglass mold and the epoxy the carbon fiber. This should add the strength and some flexibility.

A lot of guys are doing wraps these days.

This is a better technique and you do it on the inside of the body.

That's a good idea plus would look pretty awesome
