My freinds across the pond who manufacture the belt drive make carbon fiber parts for the Baja. They are interested in making parts for our Redcats.

What would you guys like to see possibly made from carbon fiber?

Carbonfiber huh? On the gear plate? It will make it lighter?

The belt cover is a good idea also I don't know how much interest there would be but I think a cf rollcage scoop like the ones they make for the baja would be cool

THE CHASSIS!! move the engine and gear plate back like a nu-tech, not tilted. All the little parts are nice guys, but the chassis is where the big weight savings are- how bout a ti engine too-- just kidding.

I really do think a carbon chassis is a good weight saving idea- there are other things that could be added to the mix also- Kevlar for one. The weak places on a chassis built fron this stuff would be the bolt holes, the holes would need inserts. Bolts with larger heads. On the top side of a cf chassis, the weak points would be the engine mounts- and the jack shaft mounting points. Just a thought---

I will be passing everyones thoughts over to them. The do make a chassis for their carbon fighter model. So it is possible. It would be some serious coin though.

I'd like to see a plastic chassis. Kraken RC made one for the Baja, it looks awesome. And they put that thing through the ringer, so it's durable.

Yes... a wing.... a wide wing like mine
I can bring this one in. It is not pre-drilled so it can fit any model.

There is also a standard size as well.
